Highlights of Saturday’s game were:
- Jonathan Marchessault extended his point streak to 6 games–a Lightning best i 2015-16 – after raking up assists on both of Steven Stamkos’ power-play goals. He’s become as dangerous offensively as anyone on the Lightning right now with 3 goals and 4 assists in his last 6 games.
- Newcomer, Anton Stralman set career high goals (9), assists (30) and points (39). Victor Hedman scored 10 goals for the 2nd straight season; and Jason Garrison tied a season high for assists (30), Andre Sustr smacked his with 13. Obviously, defensemen have been significantly contributing to offensive action.
- Lightning forward, Russian, Vladislav Namestnikov, ranks tied 4th on the Bolts for goals (6) and points (15). He even brawled to crowd approval against Ryan Johnson for the first time in his NHL history.
