Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher broke two fingers Sunday in his team’s 4-2 victory over the New York Islanders. Gallagher required surgery, and it is uncertain when he will return to the ice.
Montreal Canadiens winger Brendan Gallagher left Sunday night’s contest against the New York Islanders after stopping a slap shot with his hand. Per the team, he fractured two fingers on his left hand and is out indefinitely following surgery Monday.
