After months of uncertainty surrounding his future in Calgary, Rasmus Andersson is no more a Fire.
While the trade with Vegas relocates a core piece out of the Flames locker-room, inbound blueliner Zach Whitecloud seeks to step in and make the most of the chance with his brand-new group, boosting his function both on the ice and in the neighborhood.
For many, Whitecloud is a fresh face around the Scotiabank Saddledome. For fellow Golden Knights alum Brayden Pachal – that landed in Calgary off waivers two winter seasons ago – it stands for a get-together.
